About the team

STRings is a fresh and energetic youth formation from Kołobrzeg, which proves that music knows no age or genre boundaries.

The band was created for young instrumentalists who want to share their passion, develop a stage workshop and create unique artistic projects together.

The base of the team is the Regional Cultural Center in Kołobrzeg. The band has existed for two years, and the musical supervisor is Adam Herbowski.

A distinctive feature of STRings is openness to sound experiments. In the composition of the ensemble you can hear a variety of instruments - from classical guitars and transverse flutes to the rhythm section.

The ensemble does not close in one stylistic drawer. In their performance you can hear both atmospheric pop and rock covers, as well as moving occasional arrangements, e.g. in festive projects or dedicated to important social events.

STRings in the cultural life of the region

Despite its young age, STRings regularly and actively participates in the cultural life of the region. They celebrate key city events with their energy, including:

galas and official celebrations - including the musical setting of the Gala of Scholarships and Awards of the President of the City of Kołobrzeg in the Adebar Culture Laboratory;

thematic concerts in RCK - performances on the big stage, including participation in concerts such as “Be a Woman” or projects implemented jointly with dance schools, such as Swan Dance.

Strings is not just a band, but above all a tight-knit community of peers united by friendship, working together and the joy of making live music.

The formation constantly conducts open calls and invites to its ranks any young man who plays an instrument and wants to feel the magic of the real stage.
