Concert of the Artistic Ensemble Seniorynki entitled “Once upon a time we were 16 years old”

The City Cultural Centre in Siedlce invites you to a unique, sentimental concert of the Artistic Ensemble “Seniorynki” entitled “We once had 16 years”. On October 18th we will hear the most beautiful songs and poetry from 50, 60 and 70 years ago.

It will be a musical journey to the youth of the band members — years that were materially modest, but rich in authentic relationships, selfless friendships, passion for work and the joy of rebuilding our Motherland. The songs of those years carried timeless messages, and their performers and authors still arouse our admiration and respect today. We invite you to remember together the moments when everything was happy, and the beauty of words and music were forever inscribed in the hearts.

Senior women will recall the unforgettable works of masters of the word and song that have shaped entire generations:
• Polish classics: works with lyrics by Agnieszka Osiecka and hits from the repertoire of Halina Kunicka, Sława Przybylska, Violetta Villas, Zbigniew Wodecki and Andrzej Rosiewicz;
• World Legends: iconic songs by Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles

We cordially invite you to sing together and sentimentally return to the times of carefree youth!

Jadwiga Stachowska is responsible for the artistic concept of the event, who is the author of the script, director and will conduct the entire concert. 23 members of the Seniorynki Artistic Ensemble will perform on stage along with a reliable band consisting of: Wiesław Celiński — accordion, Zbigniew Gryglas — electric guitar, Marek Mężyński — keyboards, Łukasz Niedzielek — bass guitar, Władysław Matejko — clarinet, Waldemar Strzałek — drums with Adam Domagała — violin and guest Hanna Domagała — piano.
