Concert by Brass Riders entitled “Polish Film Music”

We cordially invite you to the Brass Riders concert entitled “Polish Film Music”, which will celebrate the National Independence Day Celebration event and the “Golden Falcon” Gala.

Brass Riders is one of the most talented and recognizable tin quartets on the contemporary music scene. The band was formed in 2019 on the initiative of trombonist Andrzej Tkaczyk, and also includes Tomasz Stolarczyk and Tomasz Gajewski — trombonists and Jarosław Jastrzębski — tubist. The idea behind the band's activities is the promotion of brass instruments and the popularization of chamber music, which allowed the quartet to quickly gain recognition both in Poland and internationally. All members are instrumentalists of the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Krakow. With the creativity, commitment and artistic maturity of the musicians, Brass Riders provides its audience with an unforgettable experience during every performance. The quartet's repertoire includes a wide range of works: from classical chamber music to arrangements of famous film works. Brass Riders regularly promotes Polish culture through concerts both in Poland and abroad. One of the unique projects initiated by the band is “Polish film music in arrangement for brass quartet”. This project aims to promote the richness of Polish film music and to present it in a new, original light. The extraordinary artistic artistry of the ensemble is appreciated by numerous institutions, which results in cooperation with various partners. Of particular value are the original arrangements of one of the members of the group, Tomasz Stolarczyk, which give the Brass Riders a unique character and allow them to explore a diverse repertoire.

Through its activities, Brass Riders aims to inspire others to discover the sound of brass instruments and the beauty of chamber music. The band has a rich portfolio of performances at music festivals and concerts both in Poland and abroad. The quartet is currently represented by Wioletta Fluda-Tkaczyk.
