Concert of the band Krajka

On Thursday 8 October at 5.30 p.m. there will be a concert of the Krajka folk ensemble in the church of St. Mark the Evangelist in the ethnographic park.

Krajka is a Ukrainian band from Przemyśl, which reproduces the traditions of the singers of the Nadsania region. The band was formed in 2011 at the Ukrainian House in Przemyśl. Its initiators were Przemysl youth from the Ukrainian national minority. Members draw on archival recordings, systematically conduct field research. In addition, the group is engaged in the reconstruction of traditional music from the works of 19th and 20th century ethnographers, including Oskar Kolberg.
