CONCERT OF THE ŁUPANIN ENSEMBLE — AS PART OF THE “BOAT STRIKES” PROJECT

We revive the stories of the Łódź textile workers — strong, brave and forgotten women. Łupanin's team fights for their memory, reminding them of the importance of solidarity and the fight for workers' rights.

We prey on class inequalities, on the stories we hear, on the life of the workers of Łódź. The project was born from a big heart for Łódź gates, tenement houses, empty factories, huge slabs on Widzewo, trowels... and even for renovations.

The intimacy of the ensemble allows us to reach places where culture often does not reach — in the courtyards, between windows, to people who still want to listen. Łupanina is a contemporary voice of Łódź folklore — full of passion, youth and faith in a culture that knows no borders.
