Tanga Congress 2026

Tanga Congress 2026

Tradition and rebellion. Elegance and uncompromising energy. Nostalgia of Buenos Aires and contemporary musical experiments. THE CONTRASTS - Tango Show is a show presenting the extraordinary diversity of the world of tango, in which three different faces of the same musical culture come together.

The first part of the evening will be filled with compositions performed by Wiesław Prządek Quinteto Tango Nuevo - a band recognized for years as one of the most important interpreters of Astor Piazzolla's music in Poland. They will be accompanied by the unique voice of Barbara Grabiński, an Argentine singer with Polish roots, who brings an authentic Buenos Aires atmosphere to her songs. The second part of the concert will be created by the legendary band El Cachivache, a worldwide phenomenon referred to as “Punk Tango”. Buenos Aires artists have won the recognition of audiences on all continents for their bold approach to tango classics, combining the characteristic rhythm of the city on La Plata with the immediacy and scenic power of contemporary sounds. The ensemble will be complemented by performances by professional Argentine tango couples who will present different styles and aesthetics of the dance - from the classic tango de salon to dynamic interpretations inspired by the contemporary Buenos Aires scene. Choreographies and dance shows will become a natural dialogue with live music.
