Kontravoid's masked mystique has remained intact for more than a decade. Since releasing the self-titled album in 2012, Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based Cameron Findlay has refined his dark form of pop music, balancing between EBM, electro and goth. Releases such as 'Too Deep' from 2019 and 'Faceless' from 2021 lead the listener down into the most dilapidated corners of fog-filled, strobe-lit nightclubs, where it's impossible to stand still.

At the same time, the music contains an unexpected softness and a distinct sense of strong songwriting craft. Kontravoid manages to create heartbreaking songs that both captivate and exude melancholy. The track 'Undone' from 2018 remains a fan favorite since its release on Berlin's Fleisch Records.

On stage, Kontravoid demands the audience's full attention with an intense performance where hard-hitting beats meet his distinctive, rhythmic bass runs. He has toured with Boy Harsher, ADULT., Killing Majesty and Hide as well as remixed artists such as Schwefelgelb and Kris Baha.

As a true figure from the dark, Kontravoid stands as a distinctive and unique figure on the dark electronic scene.
