Discover the chance cosmic encounters that have shaped our place in the universe. One of the European Space Agency's most groundbreaking projects, the Gaia space probe, aimed to map the exact positions, distances and motions of nearly 2 billion stars in the Milky Way.
Using data from their observations, a team of astronomers and science visualization experts created a screening of spectacular moments from the past and future of our solar system, including the paths of stars, comets, interstellar debris, and visually stunning clouds of gas and dust — as well as, for the first time, the dramatic merger of our galaxy with a smaller a satellite galaxy.
The show consists of two parts — the first is a walk through the current sky, conducted live by a Polish speaker. The second part is a projection in Polish. The English soundtrack is available by selecting the headphone icon in the reservation system.
