A musical performance about the adventures of a girl who wakes up in a room, outside the window of which she sees... space. Maybe it's just a dream, or maybe her dream of world peace has been misunderstood? Now little Emma has to face new challenges. Seemingly ordinary life in Warsaw turns into an amazing journey, in which a sofa, a telescope and a unicorn come to life. It is these objects that will accompany the girl on her tortuous journey through the Palace of Culture, the palm tree at the De Gaulle roundabout, all the way to the vast cosmos. Gulliver's acting team creates the world by animating puppets at a masterful level. Check out this fairytale comedy of mistakes, in which the power of friendship turns out to be the greatest value. And remember, no matter what, it's worth dreaming!
About the event
What would it be like to wake up one morning in a completely strange room? Around other people's furniture, objects, toys, and outside the window, instead of the familiar yard, spreads out... space! When all this meets little Emma, the girl is convinced that she is constantly dreaming. After some time, however, she realizes how powerful a birthday wish can have in her mind: “I want peace in the world.” The initial rage over time turns into a fascination, and a new life full of anxiety in Warsaw - into an incredible journey, full of extraordinary characters and adventures that allow us to believe again in the beauty of this world.
What stories hide the souls of objects — a couch, a telescope, a flower, a unicorn mascot? With their help, will Emma be able to find herself in a new city, school, reality? “Space Room” is a musical performance, the script of which was created during holiday workshops with children from different countries, cultures, backgrounds and places. Magdalena Mrozińska created a comedy of mistakes interspersed with songs, which found its beginning in children's stories. Conversations about homes, both those distant and symbolic, as well as those very specific and close, have turned into a beautiful story about longing, finding your place in the world, the power of friendship and the fact that no matter what it is worth dreaming.

More information about the show:
The play “Cosmic Peace” was co-created by a multicultural group of children. The performance based on the text by Magdalena Mrozińska was created as part of the #Połączeni project, and a group of children for almost six months created it together with artists, using tools taken from the world of art: music, song, words, scenography, multimedia and dance. The main idea of the #Połączeni project is embedded in the story. It is the thought and belief that by creating and nurturing a diverse, multicultural community, we become richer in opportunities, perspectives and therefore more active. It is the belief that by creating a tolerant, multicultural and respectful society, we can achieve more. Perhaps someday we will fulfill this impossible dream of humanity: peace in the world.
“Cosmic Room” is a musical performance of the “Music is for Everyone” Foundation and the Guliwer Puppet Theater, which at every stage was created in the process of cooperation of children from different countries living in Warsaw, with artists and artists. The show “Space Peace” is the final result of the #Połączeni project. A cycle of creative activities and a musical performance created by children together with artists. It is implemented and co-financed as part of the Diverse Warsaw Program of the capital city of Warsaw and supported by the Artistic Residency Program for creators from Belarus and Ukraine organized by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute.

So I recommend the performance both for family time in the theater, and as part of an excursion with a group of elders or students of the first grades of elementary school.
