THREAD TAILOR

“The Tailor Niteczka” is a humorous and imaginative story about a brave young man from the town of Tajdarida, who, according to the prophecy of a gypsy fairy, goes out into the world to become king. His path leads through unusual places and encounters, where there is no shortage of magic, dangers and attempts of courage.

In the performance, one actress is enough to bring all the characters to life. One skirt is enough to reveal the fairytale theater hidden beneath it! An unusual impression is also made by the world, which literally “moves out” from the stage: from the patchwork screen the inhabitants of Tajdarida speak, and from the wicker basket the natives of Pecan look out.

The Olsztyn Puppet Theatre's performance is a dynamic, colourful and at the same time poetic, full of music and surprising ideas, a 45-minute show. It goes not only to the youngest viewers, who follow it with delight, but also to adults. This spectacle captivates everyone, without exception.
