“According to our assumptions, these choreographic workshops should be an integral part of the life of a ballet ensemble that has the ambition to shape its own artistic face. Without attempts to find new ways, means of expression and even a new language, ballet would be an art of little interest, devoid of surprises and challenges for the public, perhaps even a dead art.

Therefore, every year our artists take into their own hands the preparation of new choreographic creations, both from the organizational side, as well as the development of a literary program, poster and other promotional forms and many activities that are related to the staging of a ballet performance on stage. Of course, the most important element of this project is the creative participation of our artists in the preparation of choreographies and their execution.

Every year new miniatures are presented, mostly by our dancer-choreographers, who have already presented their works as part of the workshops, but there are also debuts. I'm curious about all of them, because that's how choreographic talents are born, which — like Robert Bondara or Anna Hop — already make us admire.”
