Blood for Blood | Splat! FilmFest

Mega had a chance to make an international career in martial arts, but today she earns her money by night duels in a small arena. When her older gambling brother pawns the family home, she must fight ruthless gangsters to save his life and his own future. “Blood for Blood” is a brutal Indonesian action movie in which every mistake is paid for with broken bones, and a bottle or chair instantly becomes a deadly weapon. The impressive Livi Ciananta lends both physical strength and emotional weight to this fight, and the choreography of Uwais Team turns subsequent clashes into an imaginative, macabre showdown. A screening for those who, after the action cinema, expect adrenaline, pain and not a moment of respite.
