About the event

“The Nutcracker” is one of the most famous and beloved ballet stories, taking viewers into the magical, Christmas world of children's imagination. The classic story about the clash of good and evil, combined with the timeless music of Piotr Tchaikovsky, delights both young and adult viewers.

Little Clara and the Nutcracker embark on an extraordinary journey, during which she visits the Snow Kingdom and the Kingdom of Sweets and faces the Mouse King. The fairytale story is accompanied by spectacular choreographies, colorful costumes and scenography creating a unique, festive atmosphere.

The performance is presented by the Royal Classical Ballet — a Polish ballet ensemble founded by Marcin Rolczyński, a dancer, choreographer and director, who also serves as the artistic director of the ensemble.

The ensemble of more than thirty consists of Polish dancers cooperating with leading theaters and ballet companies in the country, as well as artists from, among others, Japan, Brazil, Italy and France. The Royal Classical Ballet presents full-scale ballet performances, combining the tradition of classical ballet with modern means of expression.

The performances of the team are distinguished by a high technical level, stage expression, acting interpretation of roles and a spectacular visual setting. The repertoire includes both the most important works of ballet classics and more contemporary dance forms.
