“The Queen of Love” is a modern morality and vivisection of family relationships. A story about the blind love of a mother for a son-murderer and the love of a daughter for a mother who suppresses the crime of her son. A story of loyalty, guilt, and moral courage — and of reckoning with life in the face of impending death. Is silence in the face of evil also a form of guilt? What do we lose when we pretend that nothing happened? And should a love that forgives everything also keep everything silent?
