Road, forest, moon, roadside bar, wedding, death. Lorka's “Blood Mating” is a story of forbidden love, it is a story of passion that leads to betrayal. It is not merely a private choice, but an event that sets in motion a chain of consequences. The tragic decision of the protagonists reveals the individual responsibility of man to history, community and his own destiny—a responsibility that cannot be transferred to race or destiny.
