A psychic comes to drive the ghost out of the old hotel and breaks the rule to never work after dark. A terrifying Japanese horror film that gradually builds tension and surprises with the development of the riddle.
About the event
Airi, a psychic traveling through Japan, accepts a commission to banish a ghost from a former hotel in the outback. The routine quickly spirals out of control: the creature behaves differently from the ghosts she has encountered so far, and Airi begins to break her most important rule - never work after dark. “Screams in the Dark” is a terrifying Japanese horror film that gradually tightens the tension loop, turning empty rooms, noises and seemingly ordinary objects into sources of fear. Dave Boyle skillfully uses familiar themes of haunting stories to surprise even seasoned viewers and remind us that the living can be just as terrible as the dead. In the role of Airi, Moeka Hoshi, known from the “Shogun”, delights.
