A famous researcher, as well as the author of many scientific treatises on biology, Baltazar Gąbka sets off to the Land of the Rainbowmen in order to observe the customs of flying frogs and gather new information for his work. His long absence in his homeland worries the Prince of Krakow, who orders to organize an expedition to bring the scientist to the country. From Krakow, an expedition comes to the rescue, which includes the Wawel Dragon and Bartolini Bartłomiej of the coat of arms of Zielona Parsley (court cook). They set off for Rainwater Land in an amphibious car. Their trail is followed by a spy from the Land of the Rainbowmen, Don Pedro de Pommidore.

The series was produced by the Drawing Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała (1969-1970).
