In December we invite you to the next installment of the series “Books on the Stage. About what is between us!”
This time we will look at the book “Młocka. Reportage about the work of the future” by Marek Szymaniak — stories about the technological revolution that is changing the world of work before our eyes. Algorithms that evaluate employees, applications that replace managers, systems that track every movement and robots entering new professions — these are no longer visions of the future, but our everyday life. The author shows how technological progress affects people's lives and raises questions about its price. Who will benefit from the upcoming changes and who will be left behind? And in a world where more and more decisions are made by machines, can we still influence our own future?
Fragments of the book will be presented by actors of the Radom theater and amateur actors under the supervision of playwright Michał Pabiana.
7 December, 18:00, Boiler Room Scene, admission 1 PLN
The project “BOOKS ON STAGE. ABOUT WHAT IS BETWEEN US” aims to encourage the discovery of contemporary literature and show that the book can be not only an individual reading, but also a starting point for meeting, conversation and shared experience.
Do you want to read with us? Join! Would you rather watch? Come on!
