The Book of the Forest

“The Book of the Forest” is a theatrical and musical fairy tale for the little ones. In the withered, ancient forest there is a dead silence.

The woodcutter Maciej arrives in the clearing to cut down a 1000-year-old oak tree growing there. Just before starting work, the Lumberjack discovers that the reason for the lack of life forces of the forest is Echo's disease, which for so long repeated the screams of people who did not respect the forest silence, until he hoarsely and finally lost his voice. It was then that the animals left the sad forest and the birds flew away.

The lumberjack decides to save the forest and sets off in search of a cure for the sick Echo. During his journey, he finds himself in the traps of the Spider, as well as the court of the Queen of forest bees and the pharmacy Zaskrońca.

Will the brave lumberjack find three enchanted flowers and learn the magic words they contain — the keys to a happy life? Will Echo regain her voice and the forest come back to life and flourish again?
