The Moon — a performance of the Small Illustration Theatre

BWA Olsztyn cordially invites you to the performance of the Small Illustration Theater, which will take place on October 25 (Saturday) at 11:00 in the temporary headquarters of the BWA in the Urania Hall — Al. Marsz. J. Piłsudskiego 44 (entrance B1 | conference room).

“The Moon” is a picture story about the power of friendship and dreams, set in a world full of magical creatures and strange vegetation. Together with little Lulik, we wander through the forest shrouded in night looking for a way to fulfill a great desire that prevents the creature from falling asleep. We meet many funny creatures along the way, among which there is also a mysterious Giant... You will find out if Lulik manages to fulfill his big dream during the performance, we invite you!

Mały Teatr Ilustracji — an original artistic and educational project created in 2014, combining the traditional art of storytelling with imaginative illustrations. The illustrated cards that complement the stories of the Small Illustration Theater are images of high aesthetic quality, created by professional artists, using various techniques so as to best influence the shaping of the aesthetics of the audience.

The theatre's activities are inspired by the Japanese technique of kamishibai — paper theatre, in which narrative and drawing co-create a unique, engaging reception experience. The performances of the Small Illustration Theatre are created with young audiences and their guardians in mind. They are distinguished by high artistic quality, attention to aesthetics and the ability to create an atmosphere of concentration, shared experience and attentive contact with art.

The performances of the Small Illustration Theater are accompanied by live music played on various instruments, which creates a unique atmosphere of each meeting.
