Cuba Badach: Jazzy Christmas

Jazzy Christmas is an author's look at the repertoire that has accompanied winter gatherings for years. In the first edition, the audience heard, among others, “It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “Let It Snow”, “I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas” and Polish songs “Mario, whether you know”, “Jest taki día” and “Before Christmas” — in new, refined arrangements. The second installment will bring another repertoire surprise and premiere interpretations, prepared especially for this tour.

The host of the concerts is Kuba Badach — an artist who with characteristic looseness and humor guides listeners through the next chapters of this festive and musical history. He will be accompanied by outstanding instrumentalists and vocalists. The first edition of the project was attended by Matt Dusk, Natalia Kukulska, Andrzej Lampert, Bernard Maseli, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Andrzej Piaseczny and Dominik Wania, as well as a thirty-member orchestra.

The premiere edition quickly sold out halls in the largest cities, and in several of them double concerts were played. The project — in its television version — was also presented on TVP2 on the second day of Christmas, reaching a wide audience throughout Poland.

There are stories that you want to go back to, and Cuba Badach: Jazzy Christmas is a holiday written in a jazz rhythm.
