CUCKOO'S NEST

They are all on the photo next to Saffa's bed: Saffa herself, her sister Nim, mom and the dog. What a lovely family. But now the image is broken. Fell down when mom banged the door too much. And everything else is broken too. Because either mom wants to fly to Mallorca even though it's not vacation at all and buy a gerbil that she can't take care of. Or she's sitting on the roof singing and refusing to come down. Like right now. It's enough for Nim. She wants to go to the Youth Welfare Office and hopes for a foster father with a big house, whose rolls are never moldy. Saffa, on the other hand, does everything she can to hide the fact that she is the one at home who takes care of food, gerbil and actually everything else. She wants to keep her family together at all costs.

In this exciting chamber play, we follow the two sisters as they fight for each other and their mother in their different ways.
