We invite you to slow friending, which is a calmer alternative to the popular speed friendship. Instead of a quick rotation, we will try to give ourselves space to talk at our own pace on topics that actually interest us. We especially invite students, queer and allied people who are just getting to know Lublin and want to make new friends, especially if you have already got the pressure of a busy schedule and the feeling that you have to run everywhere.
When: 18.10.2026 (Sunday), 17.00-19.00
Where: Library Azyl Galeria Labirynt, 13 Lipowa Street, Lublin (entrance from Ofiar Katynia Street)
accessibility: the event takes place in a space free of architectural barriers, there is a non-donated bathroom available on site; no translation on PJM
Admission: free
registrations: link to the application form
language: Polish
The event is part of the Culture for Equality programme — a week of cultural and social events dedicated to equality, diversity and community, organized by the Equality Union Association in cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Lublin 2029 and the Culture Centre in Lublin. The honorary patronage of the program is Magdalena Biejat, Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, the Representation of the European Commission in Poland and Krzysztof Żuk, the Mayor of the City of Lublin.
