About the event

Is it possible to learn to talk? How to address difficult topics? How to strengthen communication skills?

We invite you to the Good Conversation Training, led by Agata Pietrzyk-Sławińska and Joanna Zięba, using a technique developed by the New Community Foundation.

At the beginning, we choose a controversial topic on which we will practice a good conversation. Then we begin practical exercises in pairs and/or in a group, which will prepare the participants for conversations with loved ones, friends and work colleagues. During TDR we practice, among other things, how to speak so that others understand us; how to ask questions to better understand others; how to listen to what others are trying to convey; how to talk so as not to lead to arguments, how to include diverse perspectives on a given topic.

Within the framework of the workshop, worldview topics that can move or evoke emotions will be addressed. There will be several topics to choose from, so that participants can decide which topic is engaging for them, but not overwhelming.

- to employees of institutions and non-governmental organizations - to creators, artists and artists - to people working in diverse social environments - to people related to: education, animation, creative activities, art - to practitioners working in a multicultural context - to teachers, representatives of universities - to those seeking support in building inclusive dialogue
