Culture Night at the Opera 2026

Participation in the activities at Kulturnatt is free of charge, but it requires a valid Culture Pass.

For Culture Night at the Opera you can take an exciting route behind the Store Scene and on to the backstage area, where the technician works daily. On stage you can also see the beautiful set design for the performance Innocence.

During the evening there will be performances with opera and musical singers singing arias from the opera La bohème and songs from the musical Evita. Musicians from Det Kgl. Chapel will additionally perform chamber concerts for both percussion and strings.

In the foyer, our masseurs will work with wigs and makeup from the performance The Bat, and you will be able to see costumes from the performance Falstaff.

Throughout the evening, the café in the foyer will be open, where you can buy both hot and cold drinks. Get 10% off everything in the cafe when you show off your Culture Night badge, or enjoy one of our special offers:

Doors open at 6 p.m. and last closing time is 10:30 p.m. The house closes completely at 11pm.
