Culture Night at Gamle Scene 2026

Participation in the activities at Kulturnatt is free of charge, but requires a valid Cultural Passport.

At Gamle Scene you can see performances with the Royal Theatre Ballet School and aspirants as well as dancers from the Royal Ballet throughout Culture Night. Among other things, you will be able to experience excerpts from the ballet Jewels and rehearsals for the upcoming ballet premiere of Jane Eyre.

Throughout the evening, pianists Ulrik Vesti, Alison Smith and Kelly Lenahan will give concerts by a wide range of composers.

STAGE-ROUTE AND TAILORING

One can also choose to go the 'stage route' with a look at the scenes around the stage or to go the 'tailor route' and have a chat with a few of the theatre's skilled tailors and textile designers. Both routes are open throughout the evening and do not require a reservation. Unfortunately, the routes are not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
