Already on October 23, 2026 at 18:00 we cordially invite you to a unique author's meeting with Krzysztof Papiernik — a writer and data analyst, a native Alexandrovian currently living in Warsaw.
The son of a historian and archaeologist, he took his interest in the past from home. He made his debut in 2026 with the novel “Kundel”, a historical crime noir set in the occupied Łódź in 1942. The novel combines noir aesthetics, brutalism and psychological realism. It is a story about complicity, the banality of evil and how man can live and think in a structure that is completely dehumanizing.
Details of the meeting:
Date and time: October 23, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
Place: Aleksandrow Cultural Centre in Aleksandrow Łódzki, ul. L. Waryńskiego 22/26
Admission: Free limited-number tickets will be available from October 15, 2026 from 9am — to be picked up in-person at ACK or online.
