Kuzma

For the first time on the big screen: a documentary about Kuzma Skriabin, the leader of the team “Skriabin”.

The biographical documentary film “Kuźma”, dedicated to the legendary Kuzma Skriabin, will be released in Polish cinemas on August 14. The production of the creators of the film “Yaremchuk: An Incomparable World of Beauty” was entirely based on unique archival materials, most of which have never been disclosed before.

The story of Andriy Kuźmenka — the leader of the band “Skriabin”, who was loved by millions, but only a few really knew him. Through exclusive, previously unpublished archival material, the film reveals his inner transformation, sense of humor and self-irony, and a life lived at full speed, which continues to inspire generations to this day.

The film, directed by Artem Hryhorian, leads the viewer in the footsteps of Kuzma — from a boy from Novoyavorivsk to an icon of Ukrainian pop culture. It is a story of freedom, pain and love for people that echoed in his every word. The film portrays Kuzma as a figure of cultural memory who, despite the passage of more than a decade since his death, remains alive and continues to exert a tremendous influence.

“This is definitely not a classic documentary where everyone is talking about a hero. Of course, this cannot be completely avoided, but we wanted the viewer to spend this time with Kuzma himself — to see him as he really was. We knew him as a national hero, but we did not know the history of his journey. Kuzma can no longer speak directly to us. However, through the archives - maybe. The viewer does not hear so much about what happened in the past as he experiences this journey through his life here and now, on the screen,” says Maksym Serdiuk, producer of the film “Forge”.

On the big screen: documentary pro Kuzmu Skryabina — in the cinemas of Poland from 14 years

Kuzma Skryabin is entrusted to the screens: the main date of viewing the biographical film

Biographical drama “Kuzma: Scary Merry” — by the cult Kuzmu Skryabin — can be seen on sale in Poland for 14 years. The link with the works “Yaremchuk: The Unseen World of Beauty” was inspired by the influence of the book archives, which has not been published before.

Description of the film: The story of Andriya Kuzmenka, the guru of “Scriabin”, who was loved by the Milions, and who knew better - the only one. An exclusive, never-before-seen, archival film will show the inner dragon of yoga, the self-help and life of a young woman, whose jacket is not worn by her friend.

The strike of director Artem Grigoriana held the viewer with the help of Kuzmi — from Novoyavorivs'ka to icons of Ukrainian pop culture. This is a film about freedom, knowledge and love for people that sounded in the word of leather yoga. The film corresponds to Kuzmu as a figure of cultural memory, where, throughout the decade, the life of the forest is imbued with a vivid and immersive experience.

“It's not exactly a classic documentary, but it's about the hero. It sounds like no one is missing, but my hotel, if the viewer sees this hour, Kuzmoyu himself is a good yogi, as if he were an owl. I know yoga as a folk hero, but the story of yoga is not. Kuzma can't talk to us indiscriminately. But through the archives — maybe. The viewer does not often hear what happened in the past, the children will experience the next day of yoga and live just a contagion on the screen,” said Maxim Serdyuk, producer of the film “Kuzma: Scary Merry”.
