About the event
Spain, 1944. Ophelia lives with her pregnant mother with her new stepfather, a ruthless army officer Franco. In a nearby labyrinth, he meets a fauna who claims that the girl is a missing princess. Returning to her magical kingdom, however, requires three dangerous tasks. “Labyrinth of fauna” by Guillermo del Toro is a dark fairy tale for adults, combining fantasy, horror and historical drama. Unusual creatures and delightful scenography accompany the brutal story of growing up in a world of violence, where obedience is not always a virtue. The three-Academy Award-winning classic scares as much as it moves.
