The Doll of Bolesław Prus is one of the most important works in the history of Polish literature. But can a book written in the 19th century appeal to us today in an attractive way? And does he still have something important to tell us? We have no doubt that it is!
We want to ask some eternal questions: about love, betrayal, conscience, success in life and its price. How much can feelings distort our picture of reality? How much are we able to sacrifice for the recognition of the “elites”? How many humiliations are we willing to forgive in order to achieve the goal? And what is good? And doing good?
We invite you to the theatrical world, which we will tell you in the sensual and emotional language of the musical — in a performance based on the libretto by Wojciech Kościelniak, with lyrics by Rafał Dziwisz, with delightful music by Piotr Dziubek and captivating choreography by Jarosław Stańko, directed by Jerzy Jan Połoński.
We present to you the magical IMAGINARIUM — a place where every dream can come true. Here even a simple merchant can become an aristocrat and marry a princess. The question is how much he will have to pay for it...
