At the opening of the season, we invite you to the screening of “Lalki” directed by Maciej Kawalski, an adaptation, according to many, of the most important Polish novel of the 19th century (or maybe of all time?). The film will be preceded by a lecture by Dr. Marcin Jauksza, and after the screening we invite you to a joint discussion, which will be led by: Michał Mocek - psychoanalyst at PTPA and psychoanalytic psychotherapist at PTPP, Marcin Jauksz - film scientist and literary scholar of UAM In the discussion after the film, using the tools of psychoanalysis and adaptation theory, we will talk about how many Stanishas Wokulski is able to bear the Polish national conscience, why some viewers feel discomfort when Łęcka crosses the boundaries established for her by Prussia and what choices and forms say about the creators themselves depict specific characters from the literary prototype. We invite you!
