We invite you to an extraordinary concert of the Late Night Poems formation, which combines acoustic jazz with the spoken word form in the convention of “jazz & poetry”. It is a more poetic version of the activities of Bartłomiej “Eskaubei” Skubisz — rapper, performer and music journalist, who is accompanied on stage by top Polish jazz musicians.
The band is currently promoting their second album “Rise & Bloom”, which was released in 2025 by the prestigious U Jazz Me label. The album met with enthusiastic reception in Poland and abroad, being included in the list of the 25 best jazz albums of the year according to the jazzsoul.pl website, and its songs were heard on the antennas of leading radio stations (including Radio 357, Nowy Świat, Trójka, Czwórka).
The Late Night Poems concert is an authentic dialogue between the spoken word and improvisation. The voice becomes an equal instrument here, creating a narrative full of breath, sincerity and a jazzy sense of pause. As Piotr Wojdat wrote in Jazz Forum: “It is an invitation to stop, listen and empathize. Late Night Poems prove that in a world of rush and excess, you can create music that grows slowly — but flourishes intensely.”
The composition of the team:
Bartłomiej “Eskaubei” Skubisz — spoken word
Michał Szkil — piano
Piotr Lemańczyk — double bass
Marek Konarski — saxophones
Dawid Fortuna — drums
Date and time: 18.10.2026, 6:00 p.m.
