Bird masks - In watercolor, ink & naturals

Enter the wonderful world of birds where imagination, colors, shapes and nature's own materials turn into personalized bird masks. We start from traces, transparency and patterns. Along the way, we use various natural materials such as leaves, clams, feathers, and small branches, to create prints, textures and details on the masks.

Here you have the opportunity to have your very own bird. Maybe it will be a colorful parrot, a mysterious night bird... or a completely new species.

The workshop is about experimenting, playing and discovering what these materials can do together. You may want to include your own findings as a supplement.

The workshop is hosted by designer and artist Linda Weimann of Space for Ingenuity.

Part of Theatre Magic in the Autumn HolidayWe are part of the festival 'Theatre Magic in the Autumn Holiday', which gives children and their adults the opportunity to experience performing arts in the city's cultural houses, libraries and theatres during week 42. The encounter with performing arts provides a shared experience where one is together in the present moment of magical moments - big and small.

Teatermagien can be found this year at Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, in Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavn and Bispebjerg.
