LaVina — festival of law, administration and public services

LaWINa 2026 — get to know law, administration and public service from the practical side! On October 22, 2026, we invite high school students to Avalanche — a festival of law, administration and public service! We want that day to be able not only to hear about studies, but above all to experience them: to step into the role of a lawyer, a participant in a trial or an official, to face a specific case, to get to know the work of the uniformed and public services, to talk to students and employees and to see what life is like in our Faculty. LaVina is part of the celebration of the European Lawyer's Day, which falls every year on 25 October. This is an opportunity for us to show the law more broadly — as a tool serving man, the state and society, but also as a space for many different professions, problems and opportunities. 22 October 2026, 9.30—13.30, Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin, building No. 1, Piastów 40b avenue in Szczecin. We will start the day with an “Avalanche of Opportunities” — a brief introduction to the four courses taught at WPiA US: Law, Administration, Uniform Service Law and International Business Law. Later, participants will be able to choose from workshops, debates, simulations and other activities. The program includes: ⚖️ simulation of the trial — enter the role and see how the sentence is passed; “Order of the Phoenix through the eyes of a lawyer” — trial in the Ministry of Magic and before the criminal court; 🏛️ “Mission: office!” — how to get things done and not get lost between the windows, including those in MobyWatel; 🔎 “Gotham under the CBA magnifying glass” — who set up the tender? ; “Decode the Judgment!” — how to decipher the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union; 🗣️ Avalanche debate “Security or freedom?” How much can the state know about us? The public will be able to ask questions and vote. From 11.15 am we also invite you to the Town of LaWiny. There will be demonstrations and stands of the services, our partners, social organizations and scientific circles, as well as the “Ask for studies” point. In the Chill Garden you will be able to chat with course coordinators, year supervisors and representatives of the Career Office over a barbecue — about studies, internships, development opportunities and what the WPiA looks like “from the kitchen”. Throughout the day there will also be Lex VR — WPiA Simulator, an exhibition of old legal publications “Fundamenta iuris”, an escape room, Sudoku skyscraper puzzles and Bingo LaWiny. You don't have to know yet whether you want to become a lawyer, work in administration, uniformed services or international business. LaWine is here to find out what really interests you, get to know the people who make up WPiA US and see how diverse the studies at our Faculty can be. We invite classes together with teachers, as well as students who wish to come individually. Schools are kindly requested to register in advance via the registration form.
