With Le nozze di Figaro, Mozart and his librettist Lorenzo da Ponte created a timeless social study in which humor and social criticism are in perfect balance. Götz Friedrich's production focuses on turbulent interpersonal events and thus creates the ideal platform for presenting ensemble members and guests who enjoy playing. Riccardo Minasi conducts this revival with Maria Bengtsson as Countess and the two young Frenchmen Florian Sempey as a foretaste of his new production Così fan tutte
