Like no other, Lee Fields' musical soul still embodies the soul of the first hour. Convinced that everyone should experience and give love, he builds a bridge to the divine with his animated music. Fields' songs sharpen a sense of goodness and aspirations.

Fields looks back on a career that has spanned almost his entire life since his youth in the 60s. The Beatles made him buy himself a guitar; James Brown led him to soul. His shows are sermons about goodness in people. He is concerned with “calming your soul” and enjoying the little things in life. “When you lose love, you also lose your orientation in life.” Renowned broadcasters such as ARTE, WDR Rockpalast and KEXP recorded appearances by Lee Fields & The Expressions over the years and recorded them for posterity. But of course, Lee Fields and his soul are still best experienced live at his concerts.
