A magical puppet theatre performance for children and whole families, which invites viewers to the distant, icy land of the North — a place where nature lives to its own rhythm, and old stories still resonate with the sounds of drums and songs. In a starlit world, amid snowy hills, shimmering ice and the aurora dancing in the sky, two young beings meet: the little polar bear Otso and the boy Intu.
“The Legend of Friendship” is a touching and full of warmth story about courage, empathy and respect for nature.
The show gently teaches openness to otherness and shows that great feelings are born from simple encounters. It leaves young viewers with the feeling that true friendship can overcome any distance — and illuminate even the longest, polar night.
* ATTENTION!! After the performance, we invite children and adults close to them to a workshop inspired by the Arctic world of the play “Legend of Friendship”. The meeting will be moderated by Joanna Hanć.
During the workshop, participants will create their own theater dolls together. Their basis will be gloves with one finger or socks, balls and light balls. An important element of the meeting will also be the design of patterns and transferring them to doll costumes. Participants will be able to draw inspiration from the motifs present in Inuit art, and then design and cut their own templates to use them to decorate the characters they create.
The number of places is limited. Enrollments apply.
