Legnica Jazz Day — Andy Sheppard & Przemysław Strączek Trio

On 6 November at 19:00 in the Manege Hall of the Knights Academy (Chojnowska Street 2) there will be a concert of Przemysław Strączek's trio with the participation of Andy Sheppard — one of the icons of European jazz. The meeting of the Polish guitarist and composer with an outstanding saxophonist began in 2019 and since then has resulted in joint tours and musical cooperation, the result of which is the album “Endless Mystery”. Tickets cost PLN 50 in advance and are available in person at Galeria Satyrykon (Rynek 36), and soon also online. On the day of the concert, the ticket price will be PLN 60.

Recorded in 2024, the album contains original compositions set in the European jazz trend, in which melody, space, relationship between musicians, motor skills, sound and colors are of particular importance. It is music full of expression and unobvious phrases, leading the listener through the next corners of contemporary jazz.
