“Summer Day” — one of the most brilliant and perverse plays by Sławomir Mrozhek. The author with his own irony tells about human desires, loneliness and the search for the meaning of life. The intimate drama, full of characteristic humor and philosophical reflection, is an excellent example of the unique style of one of the most outstanding Polish playwrights of the 20th century.
The play is Sebastian Fabijanski's directorial debut at the Polish Classical Theatre. The artist simultaneously performs the role of Uda. The cast also includes Marta Dylewska, who plays the role of Lady, as well as Paweł Brzeszcz and Michał Wójtowicz, who plays the character Nieuda interchangeably. It is the meeting of these three heroes that becomes the axis of Mrozkov's story about human passions, fears and the inevitability of fate.
