Levi is a band on the border of blues, rock, soul and ballad. Thanks to Chicago-born singer Ewa Novel clearly rooted in American music but with a Slavic spirit.

The band was formed in the fall of 2013. The first years were marked by search, mutual inspiration and personal changes. Levi has recorded two original albums. The first name Levi was created in 2015 and the second “Odcienie” in 2016. The album featured guest artists such as Jacek Królik, Michał Wierba and Antoni Krupa. After a well-received tour promoting “Shades”, the band crystallised the line-up where the place of percussion instruments was replaced by drums, thanks to which Levi further expanded his means of expression and sonoristic possibilities during exuberant concerts. Currently, the band is working on another original release, which will be a creative extension of the musical fascination of the whole band as well as each of its members individually.

After a year of activity, the band was awarded in the Blues Top 2013 ranking of the quarterly “Twój blues” on the 20th place in Poland in the category
“Discovery of the Year”.
