Lifesick

The Fredericia masters of the uncanny mix of hardcore and Swedish death, Lifesick, invite you to a rough party in our Kransal for January next year. With them at the party are the Norwegian band Purified in Blood, who since 2003 have been delivering dark mixes of thrash, doom, hardcore and extreme metal. More bands are added to the party on an ongoing basis.

Lifesick blends hardcore, Swedish death metal and crushing breakdowns in a sound that has made them one of the most distinctive names on the Danish hardcore scene. Formed in 2015, the band has since released four albums, most recently Loved By None, Hated By All via Metal Blade Records.

The music revolves around frustration, mental health and the feeling of battling a world in decay. Last album (Loved by none, Hated By All) was recorded with producer Jacob Bredahl at Dead Rat Studio, mixed by Taylor Young and augmented with industrial soundscapes from John Cxnnor. The result is Lifesick's most dark, aggressive and cohesive release to date.

The band is known for intense live concerts and have built a strong name both in Denmark and internationally with their uncompromising mix of hardcore, death metal and punk energy.

They have just released the new single “Die With Me”, which marks the start of a new and more aggressive chapter in the band's hardcore and metal universe. With a heavier sound, sharper production and even more uncompromising energy, the band pushes their expression further into the extreme.
