Lilly and the kangaroo

Lilly is a bright 11-year-old living in Australia who, thanks to her father's passion, became fascinated by the life of kangaroos. One day, a girl meets Chris on her way — a TV weather presenter who has the most unlucky time of her life. A man finds a kangaroo in need of help on the road, and thanks to Lilly's decision, decides to save him. In the end, they begin work together to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned kangaroos in a remote corner of Australia.

Based on facts, the film tells the story of Chris “Brolg” Barns, who founded a kangaroo shelter in Alice Springs in 2011 and since then treats and restores about 100 animals a year.
