LIPS GLUED

RELEASE PARTY/MELÉN/Indie-pop, Indie Rock, Indie/Alternative, Pop

Lips Glued will soon be releasing their debut album, 'A Case Of A Racing Heart', and we're celebrating it on October 21st at the Flea! Come and hear the Danish trio's first album release of lush dreampop with a noisy edge, and at the same time get a taste of what MELÉN is doing and cooking with.

Lips Glued

The name Lips Glued evokes memories of unspoken secrets and stolen kisses - which is why it fits so well with the young alt-pop trio, whose songs exude subjugated longing and strange romance. Their sound mixes lush dreampop, folk guitar and noise rock passages in a distinctively produced sound that frames the lead singer's poignant presence and very special baritone vocals. This concert celebrates the band's debut album “A Case of a Racing Heart”, which is produced by Anders Boll (Lowly, Ganger, Rigmor).

MELÉN

MELÉN makes music that moves between playful improvisation, melody-borne pop and raw indie. Her sonic landscape, shaped by sampled voice memos, ethereal vocals and driving piano patterns, has been compared to names such as Bon Iver, Imogen Heap and Björk. The Swedish, now Copenhagen-based artist and producer debuted in 2020 with the EP Mind/Math, followed by Shift/When in 2022, and is currently working on a new debut album.
