Literary Wednesday with Aldona Kucner

We invite you to the next meeting of the Literary Wednesdays series in CAL Maślice! This time our guest will be Aldona Kucner — an author who successfully combines professional experience with a passion for literature, and a special place in her work is occupied by crime fiction.

Aldona Kucner is a two-time winner of the crime story competition organized as part of the International Crime Festival in Wrocław. She developed her writing skills under the guidance of renowned authors, including Marta Guzowska, Robert Małecki and Jacek Bierut. She is professionally associated with academia and business — as a lecturer, advisor and trainer, she supports Polish technologies and innovations. She has several books and more than a hundred business articles to her credit, and beauty literature is a space in which she realizes further creative ideas.

During the meeting, the author will present her book “In the range of death” and will talk about the inspirations that accompanied her during the work on the novel. This is a story about contemporary youth and the influence of social networks on their lives. As Robert Małecki notes, the book is an insightful vivisection of the modern world of young people.

We will talk about the backstage of the creation of the novel, the construction of literary reality, the work on the criminal story and the challenges faced by a person starting an adventure with fiction. There will also be opportunities to ask questions, exchange reading impressions and get to know the author closer.

The meeting will be led by Olga Maria Szelc from the profile of The Book in Hand.

We cordially invite all lovers of literature, crime stories and meetings with authors!

Admission is free.
