Monica Gutek

Monika Gutek is an author from the Lublin region and it will be a promotion of books of customs, the action of which takes place in Lublin.

She will tell about her work and heroes who will remain in the reader's memory for a long time.

“Faces of Loneliness” — 2023

It is a book of manners written in a moving way. I write about human feelings, the loss of a loved one, grief, and how to deal with it. The action takes place in Lublin in a medical environment. The book is partly with a male narration so gentlemen can read it as much as possible. There are real stories from people's lives. Last autumn I had the pleasure of participating in the Lublin Book Fair and it was the one that attracted the greatest interest among my books.

“I want to see your smile” — 2024

Family and marriage relationships. Betrayal, separation of spouses, alcoholism, passion and true love. Two men and one woman for whom they compete.

At author meetings, I hear that it is read with only one breath. Heroes remain in the memory of the reader for a long time.

“A Short History of a Woman” — 2025.

This is really a short story about a woman — a man and a grandmother. I raise the issue of indifference and lack of respect for a loved one. Reading went to high schools. In December last year, in the Lublin region, she was among 12 books recommended for the Christmas tree.
