Literature in Motion, or “Travels in Bedding” | 6. FML

Are books best read while sitting still? Not necessarily!

We invite you to an unusual workshop of reading on the move, during which we will jump on the sheets and embark on a literary journey. We will read, listen, move, roll, drag, sneak and show the story with our whole body.

The canvas of the meeting will be the book “Podróże elotem” and fairy tales created by Anna Machacz and physiotherapist Magdalena Tvardy. The stories will become the starting point for movement and theatrical games. We will see that sometimes history can not only be read, but also shown with all its own.

At the end, we will create a short movement fairy tale together and of course we will go on a flight with our bedding.

The workshop combines literature, movement, elements of theater, improvisation and sensory play. It supports imagination, motor expression, attention to the body and creative thinking, and above all builds the association of the book with pleasure and free play.

Because during the Festival of Small Literature we want to see how far a book can take us if we let it move from place to place.
