We start the season of improvisation with live music and movement.

LOMOT returns to Alchemy 8.10 with the following line-up:
Music: Sławek Pezda, Maksym Murgio, Artur Szymański
Dance: Małgorzata Haduch, Nastazja Zajaczkowska

special guests are a duo that goes like a storm
OBWK — Olga Balińska (Dance) and Wojtek Kurek (Drums)

ŁOMOT is the only band in Poland combining improvised music and movement, punk and jazz, intimacy and strength, directness and mystery. The core is formed by an uncompromising musical and dance quintet of improvisers (Małgorzata Haduch, Maksym Murgio, Sławek Pezda, Artur Szymański, Nastazja Zajaczkowska). They were united by an irresistible desire to smash — a powerful stage event, unfiltered and close to the audience. They stand behind each other. However, this is not a return to traditional DIY, but a completely new quality of meeting the audience. The band tied up in a unique, domestic space, in the project “Mi Casa es Tu Casa” curated by Małgorzata Haduch.

Now it's time to start the new season in a completely new twist. The trust and risk developed through shared artistic practice are now being transferred to the club and festival scenes.

OBWK (Olga Balińska Wojtek Kurek) is inspired by electroacoustic music and the harsh language of movement. The visual and sound layers are minimalist and precise, maintaining the tension between pause and action.

In the latest project, OBWK explores paper. Artists play with him, imitate him and look at him closely. Paper sounds, moves and bends, changing tone and shape. The interaction between dance and sound passes through the paper, leaving traces on it. Hands running over clothes sound like the rustle of flipped sheets. From this action, rhythm and structure emerge. The human voice and the squeaks of the parquet appear, and the space thickens and comes to life.
