The uncompromising staging of FLIGHT OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST directed by Mai Kleczewska is a picture embedded in contemporary realities of the conflict between the liberal and the radical. McMurphy and the rest of the patients of the mental hospital fall victim to an extremely feminist collective led by the ruthless sister Ratched. Kleczewska's play is a masterpiece of the subject and at the same time the second realization of this title on the stage of the New Theatre in Poznań, like a mirror verifying contemporary ideas.
