Loui Henderson goes on Danmarkstour and makes his way past Pumpehuset on March 24, 2027

Things have been going strong since Loui Henderson took the first steps as a soloist. The former Pak lead singer has found her own place in a short time with great melodies, personal nerve and songs about the part of youth life where freedom, doubt, infatuation and loss often coexist.

The debut EP “Somebody Must Say It Loud” was released on September 25 and for the first time brings together Loui Henderson's songs into a larger narrative. The EP revolves around being young and trying to find direction while you screw up, fall in love, lose people, hold on to others and slowly get wiser about who you yourself are.

It's also the tale Loui Henderson takes to the stage with him in 2027. Where audiences have until now, among other things, met him at festivals and as part of Mumle's tour, this time the songs get their own frame. From the immediate energy of “Do It All Over Again” to the more vulnerable sides of “Before You Say Goodbye” and the EP's title track, the concerts will be an encounter with the artist and songwriter who in a short time has had more and more people listening.

For Loui Henderson, the songs are not written from a place where all the answers already exist. Quite the opposite. On “Somebody's Gotta Say It Out Loud,” he stands in the middle of it all — between intoxication and responsibility, old relationships and new beginnings — trying to put into words the things that might otherwise be hard to say.

When Loui Henderson fronts his first tour of Denmark in March, it won't be in a clean-shaven set-up. Seven musicians take the stage — including two guitarists and saxophone — and give the songs a larger and more vivid expression than on the recordings. The big band will become a central part of Loui Henderson's live show, underlining the ambitions for the first headline tour.
