Louis Lortie piano

Few pianists have been more closely associated with the music of Skryabin than Louis Lortie, whose performances have long been praised for their combination of crystalline clarity and visionary intensity. This recital follows the composer’s extraordinary artistic journey, from the Chopin-inspired 24 Preludes Op. 11 to the incandescent Fifth Sonata and the ecstatic transcendence of Le Poème de l’extase in Pavchinsky’s compelling piano transcription.
